I'm trying to get rid of my 1983 z28 camaro, as i need something for 4x4'ing. Willing to trade for 1st gen Cummins diesel - will throw in a E36 M3ty dirtbike trailer and 350$ cash. Even with the slight problems, car still goes for about $7,000!
About the camaro:
The good: 1983, rebuilt 350 taken from a 78 camaro. less than 70 000 km's Flashy car, helps me get Bob Costas Racing seats & seat belts, although you will lose to an acura integra (don't bother racing). It's a camaro. Racing rims Toggle switch to use horn Brand new windshield Clock works well, accurate to the hour Crooked, racing steering wheel (A little rough on the hands) Transmission fluid recently replaced - Used synthetic 5W-30 Oil (adds 10 hp) Chrome trailer hitch - Worth 800$ easy. Sick yellow Tack gauge, Bought from NAPA at $799.99 Excellent fuel mileage for the year, I only put in 94 octane racing fuel Will throw in the old disc brakes, I recommend the drum brakes I installed drunk one night, Improved performance. 280 American muscle HP!
The bad:
Body has less than 1,000,000 KM's. Fake blower for added air intake (Don't get your hopes up buddy) Clutch & tranny are berkeleyed. - 1500$ repair Gages don't work - Spedometor, Gas, everything T-tops are berkeleyed No stereo / speakers Small hole in exhaust - 6 inch rust hole Electronics don't work - excluding clock Fake roll bar Almost 10% tread on all tires - Perfect for brakestands (The chicks love it) No backseats (More room to plow Bob Costas, Although I consider this a bonus, Kidding I'm a virgin.) Crushed in Fender Slight rust covering both sides of body Exhaust leak causes carbon monoxide to leak through tranny to interior (Just keep windows open at all times, unless suicidal) Exhaust scrapes on the ground (Needs new zap straps) Rims are slightly dented (only front 2) Left headlights smashed in, accidentally rear ended a f-350 - Brakes are berkeleyed (Used wd-40, should be fine now) 0-60 in less than 15 seconds. (Tranny needs replaced) 120$ tank, Get 200km to the tank. (Small gas leak)
Absolutely NO lowballers, tire kickers, or Punjabs/Chinks. Car has been babied since I've owned it! No test drives without cash P.S - Car only shifts around 7,000 RPM (Smooth at 9,000!)
