My wife just sent me this article about declining ethics among our youth and I had a ROFL moment when I got half way down the page to this line:

“Josephson said the numbers of students exhibiting such behavior was “staggering.” But he added that 26 percent of the students surveyed said that they had lied on at least one survey question”.

Bhahah…here’s the full article if you want to read it.

    Lying and Stealing are Rampent

I don't have anything to add, I just enjoy the total sense of anarchy and chaos the article conjures.

"....they had lied on at least one survey question."

I used to frequent a shopping mall in my area where product surveys were an ongoing activity. One of the products I "supposedly" was queried about was a soft drink that I think Coka-Cola may have been about to produce. I realized that surveys, no matter who does them, are "rigged" for a pre-determined conclusion, so I vowed after that 1st survey....no more.

The most asked "survey" question on the planet?

"does this make my butt look big?"

Is it EVER possible to answer that question truthfully....and not regret that you did?

I understand that 62.7% of all statistics are made up spontaneously.

There’s an opening scene to a movie where a recently separated woman is ranting about her x-husband and she finishes her tirade by saying “on top of everything else, he stole my bible”

There’s some more irony for you.
