This thread has me realizing that the only thing I miss about ATL is all the cool places. Andretti's rocks, The Vortex has great burgers (and the downtown venue has "the Laughing Skull" attached, and thats a great place to catch a comedy show), The High is decent, but I don't really like art (he's kind of a dick), and the aquarium is nifty.

If you are there around the first Sunday of any month, be sure to check out the Caffeine and Octane show, but that is also north of town.

It's not really the best time of year for it, but if you're not coming back at a better time of year soon, I'd say you have to check out Stone Mountain.
