My fleet is down to a scooter and a mini-bike, so we'd look kind of silly. But, I hear you're buying a Porsche....

Glad to hear that you're okay.

My friend's son is there also. He has something to do with Supply, not actually on the front lines. One big complint is the lack of reading material (OK, besides the heat and smell); so Trish and I are boxing up some GRM magazines, Reader's Digest and others that would help pass time. She also threw in some 'Allure" thinking there are women soldiers.

Are you in a similar situation? Maybe your fellow GRMers can put a box together for you. Don't publish your address here but PM it.

    Take care over there!

I bet you're not seeing too many cool cars, so stop in here and get your fix of pictures and conversation when you get the chance...!

I heard from Tony and have the address to use for packages. Would it be okay to post it here in the thread?

Sorry for the delay. I heard back from Tony and he said it would be fine to post the address here. So for all of you that commented that you wanted to send a care package to Tony and his mates, time to step up!

    Thanks, dyintorace.

Anybody have any idea what the guys really want/need? Whether it's personal hygene, stuff to trade w/the locals, or just something to break the boredom, I'd rather send stuff that they're not buried in (my dad used to talk about how much "crap" was in the care packages he got when he was in Korea).

    FGC,

I asked him that exact question. He said the main items of interest are: reading material, junk food and baby wipes. I also think DVD's/CD's are good bets.
