"I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla CE. Brand new clutch, break pads, brake calipers, rotors & tires. Car was working fine untill a piston rod broke. Car does not start because it has been sitting for about a month. The part needed to fix the engine is called a connecting rod, it cost roughly 20-30$. I do not have time to fix this and i need it out of my driveway due to the other 4 cars that i have. Comes with hid headlights, custom black & tan dash & neon under dash glow (blue)(only if you ask for it.) This car is also standard and has 150k miles. Great tires 85% tread left. Needs to be towed away. "

I mean, he's only asking $600 for the car. So for $630 you have a perfectly running Corolla. What's not to love

He is accurate, $30 should cover the part cost. The 30 hours of labor, gaskets etc. well if you don't ask, he aint tellin

    Bottom left: $500 obo"

And a $30 connecting rod, and you'll be OK! Don't forget to ask for the under-dash blue neon--how'd they fit it under the dash???

I like that it has new "break pads and brake calipers".
Spell it 2 ways - one way has got to be right.

That's because the break pads are "broken in".

Actually, I have the time where if I could get a local engine this might be worth flipping--wack'em a $300ono. Sell it in the spring: Graduation present.

I really love when people list the price for the part needed, such as a head gasket or a con rod.
DEFINITELY the only thing wrong with the car, and labor is free now, didn't you get the memo=]
    LOL

There was a similar one for sale near me a few months back that had back compression in one cylinder and came with a replacement engine from the junkyard. $900. I wanted to flip it, but of course they never replied.

How difficult would it be to throw a 4AGZE in to this thing?
