Your soul ain't worth that much. I see similar yachts all the time here in Ft.Lauderdale. Nobody can afford that. Except robber barons and druggies.
Buy a boat like that is the cheap part. It is the keeping it that costs soooo much.
Da-amn! what kind of boat is that?! i thought that Wally ( not board member Wally ) made some sick nasty nautical craft, but this one is sweet!
Is it me or does the bow wave look photoshopped.
That looks like one of those R/C toys that's designed to roll end-over-end and keep going. Not a good feature in a yacht, I'm thinking.
Wow, yacht is a hard word to spell properly!
I don't think selling a crappy Kia will net you enough funds to afford a boat like that.
Looks like it would be at home in a James Bond movie!
Nice.
I am not a fan of the look at all - not that it matters since I'm sure that costs more than the subdivision - it's a little out of my league.
Not grassroots watersports - not even close.
Um, yeah. I think it's going to take more than one soul to buy that thing.
Count me in!!!
i think we would have an easier time buying a gearhead commune AND the viper factory than that thing

Needs moar .50cals and Tomahawk missile launchers, but I see it...

there is no such thing, unless its human powered, and not really even then...

Human powered grassroots watersports?
/me backs slowly out of thread...
Different strokes for different folks. I think it looks ugly and stupid.
And yes that's a photoshopped picture. The boat doesn't exist, it's a concept. Read about it here: http://www.yachtplus.com/40-signature-yacht-series.html
Personally, if I win the lottery and want a boat, I'd be more inclined to go the Captain Nemo route with something from US Subs. Say like this one:
Look! its got secret covert spaces for assault craft!
it also appears theyve built (still building?) at least two of those suckers... http://www.yachtplus.com/gallery.html
You know you have too much money when....you've just hired a "Lifestyle Management team" consisting of 7 people.
Hell I couldn't put gas in it....
Bwahahahaha. Look at the transom shot; get drunk and fall down the stairs and you roll right off the back!
If Darth Vader had a yacht, I'm pretty sure it would be one of those.
I’m not a nautical engineer but it seems to me that the non functional, esthetic super structure is going to raise the center of gravity a lot forcing you to either widen the beam = slow, or add ballast down low = draft, or accept a lot or rolling movement = barf.
Only time will tell how well the slow-draft-barf concept catches on.

Kayaks and canoes can be had on the cheap...how about if one builds his own kayak from a kit?
Better yet, build one's own small craft from plans. Admittedly, I will be going the kit route, for at least the first boat. I'm going to build it with my nephew, whom will then receive it as a gift (provided that he DOES assist in the build). I figure that it lets both of us learn, and I don't generally see him enough, so this will be a chance for family bonding.

That page has contruction pics of a few of them from last year. It has 3D images, as well, and unless they got someone REAL good (excuse me a large staff of someones who are REAL good) to do the 3D modelling and rendering sometime after the concept 3D stuff was done, I'd say the 3 or 4 in-water shots of it are real. (I do 3D animation for a living and am up on the tech and state of the art for it).
These are typical renderings: More shots of it.
