My account is approved and I'm logged in, but I am getting a message saying there is no album where I am allowed to upload files. Just created a test album and it's still saying I don't have permission to upload. I am fine using Imgur but I appreciate the work you guys are doing to help with the photobucket apocalypse so I was going to use photoberkit.

If you'd rather settle this via PM's I'll be checking my email too- perhaps I'm just a dummy when it comes to any 'non standard' photo upload site.

Thanks!

If you click Upload File the page that shows the error message also has a drop down menu for you to select an album. If you are still getting the error after selecting your album you may need to update Adobe Flash player.

I updated flash and still no go- I'll try later on the laptop.

You can also try single file upload.

Yep tried the basic single file upload too. I'm at work and don't feel like monkeying with too much to make something I shouldn't be doing work anyway... ha ha ha.

I'll try it at home and see where we get.

Thanks for the follow up guys.

I'm on vacation so I messed around and uploaded a file on your folder as admin. Let me know if you have problems tonight and if you want you can delete that file.

Usually they get their list from a third party company that categorizes the websites. Since we're new we haven't been categorized and therefore whitelisted. So basically you're berked until that happens. But that makes me think I've missed my calling. Someone had to go to all the porn sites, you know to ensure they were actually porn. How do I apply for that job?

Our company doesn't whitelist, and this is literally the only site I've ever seen get picked up by the filter that wasn't porn.

I'm bummed because now anyone that uses your site yields dead photos for every hotlink. I has a sad.

Walk into the CE0's office and demand they allow you to be able to see photoberkit?

Damn working on vacation you're an animal.

I mean I see that you may or may not be an actual elephant from the Simpsons... But seriously. It seems to work now- the multiple file upload doesn't work but that's likely a work-computer issue. I wasn't able to get on the laptop last night but I'm calling it a victory. Thanks!

Can photos be posted here directly from my desk top? I see that doing a third party posting from a photo dump site includes an html address for the images but it that necessary?

I have most of the build photos in a folder on my desk top and would much rather just store them and upload them from there rather than from a hosting site is possible.

Thanks—

All photos must be hosted elsewhere in order to be posted on GRM.

I have some info for posting from Amazon Prime. I tried the "right-click on image" method over the weekend, and it worked, but only for a few days. What I did this time was:

  1. Click the link to share the photo
  2. Copy the link into a new window
  3. Click on the image to enlarge it
  4. Right-Click on the image and select the "Copy Image Address" option
  5. Go into the thread and use the "Insert Image" button and paste the copied image address.

Simply using the link Amazon Prime gave me didn't seem to work, although it should have.

Still having issues hot linking pics from Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime is creating temp hot links, which only seem to last for a day or two.

Has anyone figured out a way to make Amazon pics work? dj06482, your method also creates temp links...

How do you upload photos onto photoberkit from a cell phone?

The process is identical to the desktop version as far as I can tell. You will need to create an album and select it before you can upload images. Stampie is working on a FAQ page which may help.

Yes the same as desktop but there's a mobile theme plugin I might try. There's also an html 5 plugin for the multiple file upload.

Where to go (web address?) to acquire a photoberkit account?

Easy or difficult?

Good gracious the photobucket app is slow garbage now. I'm 99% sure I have backups of what is there but want to download to be sure but it is going to suck doing it.
