    Jalepeno Popcorn FTW

Being in flying squadrons, it is a staple of our diet. Most units have an old school movie theater stye popper. You get a can/jar of sliced jalepeno peppers, take a cup full, then squeeze all the juice out. This should reduce it to about 1/2 cup. Let them simmer in the cooker with the oil for about 5 minutes, then add the corn. If you do it right, have the squadron runs away coughing and the other half comes running.

At home I do the same with a cooking pan and oil. You know its good when peaple are crying, but still eating it becuase its tatse soooo good.

We had a Wear-Ever air popper when I was growing up. I thought it was the greatest thing evarrr! One day, when I was at the grocery store realizing how much more popcorn I could get for a given dollar amount compared to microwave stuff, I bought one for myself. It's the JC Penny version, but is the same other than the color. Found it on Ebay.

If you have an old air popper that you do not use anymore they are great for roasting your own coffee beans...
