    RIP, though I'd honestly rather die doing something I love than live doing something I hate. I'll never get wrapped around a guardrail while driving a desk, but it sure is berkeleying boring.

    Granted I could do so while commuting to my desk, and that would totally suck, as commuting is not as fun as performance driving.

    And on that note, it's quite possible this wasn't a high performance test, so I guess there's no silver lining to this dark cloud.

    Saw this on another site.

    That guardrail design seems to defy German logic. Doesn't seem to guard against death in a low-slung car.

    good lord i haven't seen the Belfast Bellylaugh in years.

    Guardrails don't guard against death. They are intended to keep you from killing people in the on-coming lanes. There isn't anything wrong with the guardrail.

    Well, it certainly is more efficient at decapitation than the ARMCO's that we have in the States.

    I'd consider a decapitaiton risk for most low-slung cars to be a design fault. Maybe I'm just being fussy.
