I decided to be the "bigger man" and give my current employers 3 weeks notice. I offered to train my replacement, while continuing to work as hard as I have for the past two years.
All he said was "good for you".
(could have been worse).

^What a jerk. I likely would have packed my things up and called it good at the end of the day.
I just started a new job this week, the VP and Engineering manager at the last place both said, "Sorry to see you go, but we understand we didn't provide you with the opportunity you needed."

Likely would have, but one last paycheck sounds nice to me. Moving is expensive.

Congrats! I really hope it turns out to be everything you hoped for and more. Sounds like a great opportunity.
Hadn't looked much at ECS before but with a new E36 in the stable I'll move them to the top of my shopping list :)
