Knives are boring. I used a jig saw and a drill with a 3" hole saw to create Pacman chasing a ghost and eating dots in 8 minutes, which included 5 minutes of drinking beer.
It's called efficiency, people.

It is cathartic. Life is already too much of a rush. I take my time and enjoy the carving.

Here is mine and my girlfriends from last year. Mine is the ship. Unfortunately, we didn't get one of the ship lit up after I'd finished it, but it was really awesome IMHO.

I used a Dremel last year. I think this year I'm getting out the spade bits and maybe the saw-zall.
