I've been kicking around the idea of a Nissan Frontier or something but before I can really make any plans around that, I'd need to unload my '06 E-150 conversion van. I figure that I'm in for a long sales cycle with this thing which is fine since I'm not in any hurry, but I have no idea how to go about pricing this thing. The NADA/Edmunds/KBB values are all going to be for a regular cargo van which doesn't really translate (I would assume), and I know that these things depreciate in a way that drops their value like a rock. There are also all sorts of different conversion companies (well, there were in 2006), and I know that an Explorer conversion would probably be valued higher than a Chariot (which is what I have). I've been watching craigslist and ebay, but I'm not sure what I'm seeing, to be honest.
Does the hive have any tips or sources for trying to put a value on one of these things?
(2006 E-150 Chariot conversion, 114k miles, 5.4, dual A/C (both work), no mechanical problems other than a hole in the muffler that doesn't seem to affect anything, real good tires, no body damage other than a couple scratches and small dings, TV/DVD, stock radio, tow package, leather seats, low top, cleans up nice)

I've been browsing CL for awhile looking for a conversion van. I'm only interested in hi-tops and it's not too hard to find ones in the $2000 range, but all of the ones I've seen at that price are from the 90's. For one under 10 years old, $5000 shouldn't be hard to get, maybe a bit more.
They definitely seem to be a bit of a limited market. I seem to be in a minority with my affection for them.

Yes, there aren't too many people out there that can appreciate a good conversion van. Honestly, I really like mine... And I was going to write a list of things that define why I'm thinking about unloading it but I'm kind of at a loss. I guess it's mostly gas mileage making it a little more expensive to drive to work every day? Maybe not being able to get it into the garage? I'm actually a bit unclear all of a sudden, but then again, I guess I don't need to explain automotive ADD to you people, huh?
The only thing that I have noticed is that for some reason the completed auctions on eBay seem to exhibit a trend that an Explorer conversion will go for significantly more than anybody else's conversion. No facts behind that, just what it sort of looks like. Of course, mine isn't one of those anyway, so that shouldn't matter enough to try to collect data on.
