If you're like me and get all weepy when you see cool old cars in perfectly restorable condition languishing in the junkyard, then you'll understand this post:

At the Arlington, WA, Pull-a-Part, which is about an hour north of Seattle, they currently have two Datsun 240Zs (one is a 78, dunno the other), an ealy-80s 280Z, and an MGB. The Zs have the green slime on them that we get in this part of the country that signifies they've been sitting somewhere for a while; the MGB looks mostly complete, and while I didn't inspect closely, the floor (carpet's gone) looks rust-free. I don't know anything about these marques but if you do, or belong to a forum whose members might benefit, then let them know.

That hurts. I love old Z cars. A very long way from Ft. Lauderdale, though.

OMG, somebody rescue these poor cars!

If anyone has a trailer that can carry two cars, you could pick up two (2) 240Zs with one trip. Two of them. Just let that sink in.

I hate to rain on your parade, but most of those yards won't sell cars once they hit the row to be stripped.

Its worth a shot to ask, but don't be surprised if you get shot down.

Hmm. Two MGBs (a convert and a GT) and a 260Z in a local pick and pull yard here in Baltimore a couple weeks ago...
