A friend from StL moved to ATL lately, and his roommate needs to find a home for her dog - some kind of landlord issue or something. But the shelters are full, so unless she finds a home, she's pound-bound, which is obviously a death sentence.
Nico is a lab/pit mix, though much more Labby than anything else. She's a bit under a year old, so pretty puppy-ish still. He reports she's happy/loving with everything else, people, animals, kids. Has done a little chewing when toys weren't around, but seems to be getting over it. Very trainable - has learned the sit/shake/down dance already. Crate trained now. She's up on her shots (though documentation may be hard to dig up on that), and she's not yet fixed.
And she's a cutie...
