The Supreme Court has decided that the Westboro Church has the right, no matter how hateful or ugly their message, to protest the funerals of dead soldiers.
The father of a slain soldier took the clan to court and won something like 11 million dollars but that was later thrown out. The church sued and now adding insult to injury, the soldier's father has to cough up $100,000 to cover the Church's legal expenses.
The church contends that today's decision will tape a megaphone to their effort.
Where's a good bolt of lightning when you really need one?
