Rearranged/missing letters on car nameplates

My aunt had an old Dodge which purported to be either a Tard or a Drat, depending on which rear quarter you checked.

I had an '84 Mercury Marquis, and had "De Sade Edition" stickers made up.

My brother had a '70s Courier PU.  Rearranged the Ford on the hood to read Dorf.

Hey, it was funny to a 17 year old kid...

If I put the 5 on upside down will I get a Mazda S?

When I went to auto damage appraisal school, one of our test vehicles was a Pontiac Grand Am.  Very easily re-lettered to say Grand mA

I was tempted to butcher a ZX3 emblem, when I had a Focus SE sedan. 

I've passed a Mazda on my commute a few times, that's not the greatest car in the world, it's "Just a Tribute."

I saw an AMC ambassador; 1960 I believe, with the individual letters in the grill. It was customized, lowered and flat black. They had rearranged the letters to read “bad ass.” I had to agree!

Drop letters and you'll have a JEEP Grand Cherokee Lardo.
