Nobody here lumps you in with the inbred (physically and philosophically) Westboro clan.

Best X-Files episode ever!
"Isn't it obvious? You're a homicidal maniac!"
"Oh, wow. That makes everything so much clearer."

We were always told that the law generally favors the abortion side, so anything besides praying, talking to (not yelling at) people and handing out literature was strictly forbidden by the groups I was with. There were no blows below the belt, no kidney punches, no biting, no blocking cars in or out, none of that stuff.
Moral and financial issues aside, I really wish adoption were proposed as an option more often to these women.
Back to ComicCon stuff: I did not read a whole lot about the protests though, so I missed that guy. Sounds pretty funny.
Don't know why he's got the tie on..all my research tells me that thing's not UFP issue.

ROFL! (but not at you..) SVreX, I remember that you & I have had conversations about this kind of stuff before.
Trust me..if those among us who aren't religious here can't talk to you politely about this kind of stuff, then we can't talk to anybody about it! We know you're not "Full Tilt Fred Phelps Crazy"(tm) about it...
I can't recall whether it was you or one of your fellow Christians here that made the post I read, but I have to admit I never understood the whole "not a real Christian" comment y'all express about people like Phelps before one of y'all used "car guy" language to explain it to me (something about remembering the differences between ourselves and street racers, IIRC).

After doing about seven gazillion episodes of Everbody Loves Raymond and not winning anything, he won a huge award and much acllaim for that single episode of X files. THAT is good TV.
While we are on the subject of good TV and completly berkeleyed up religion. check these you tubes out.

TRIVIA: how do we know this is a late-'65 impala SS?
"Super Sport" in script rather than the block-letter "SS".

396 not 409

winner! the rat motor didn't arrive until late in the model year, April or May IIRC, so were only used for the last couple months of '65 production.
Not trying to be a "troll" here guys, but couldn't let this old thread go without sticking another quarter in the GRM Jukebox.

Yeah, I shoulda done it last week. Mea Culpa.
And yes, I have also attempted to avoid a fight in Jackson, MS on a Saturday night. It wasn't quite as spectacular as the song, tho. And I like that Impala. It's the same color as the one a cousin of mine's husband had back when I was a kid. IIRC, he had a pretty smokin' 327 in it..

White, black, or blue smoke?

ROFL! I just thought "smokin" was more poetic than "powerful".
Otherwise...I was 8 years old! I remember the ride, and him telling me it was a 327, because I actually was a big Chebby fan during my childhood, but I really don't remember what kind of problems he had with putting it in that hole, or keeping it healthy.. I only remember that he had it running pretty good the day my cousin said, "take this lil' fellow for a ride!".
