Yesterday I broke, cracked the handle on my Bissell Little Green Machine and promptly threw it in the garbage. It has led a hard life with multiple car cleanings, one dog and two kids. The shortened cord had already been repaired due to a freak cord cutting accident a few years back. The clean water tank no longer worked due to leaking of the bottle. The cracking of the handle was the final straw.

My immediate reaction is to pick up another Bissell today but before I do, I wonder, is there something else that you might recommend? My intended uses are in-home carpet spot cleaning as well as auto interior cleaning.
