That sounds scary, around here when they have the 20 mile yard sale along Rt.11 they have to post cops on it all day to respond to all the wrecks.

I heard about this a few years ago. It made the Memphis newpaper one year, tho I've never been to it, I've always wondered if there was much in the way of car stuff to be seen/found.
About this same weekend, there were always 2 or 3 subdivisions in the outskirts of Memphis that had yard sales. Not a couple of hundred miles long, but still, several dozen families at a time....and THAT was a traffic nightmare.

I live by a section of it, did a few sales last year, didn't bother this year
