I just recently purchased a 95 900 SE sedan, and my friend is buying a 98 900 convertible, is it possible to take the 5 disc cd changer out of his saab and swap it into mine, I am asking because i have not had to much experience with saab, other than the fact that they make great cars.
95 and 98 should be the same "generation" often referred to as the NG900 (new generation) or GM900 (for GM who helped bring about this car after buying into Saab)
As for it bolting in.. you will have to try. Saab did offer different radios in different trim levels
