Glad he is OK and yes the kids will try to get away with stuff if they can. On a related note my oldest son, 8, went with a friend of his to a birthday party, the mom did not have her seatbelt on and I heard him ask when he fot in the car why she did not have it on. Her face turned red and she put it on as she backed out of our driveway. I was very proud.
