My DD Buick has this awful "leather" interior that basically burns my ass (literally) in the summer. I'm tired of being all sweaty when I get home from work (I don't usually like leather, but this is especially bad) and so I've been thinking of getting some seat covers.

Any recommendations on material or brands? I saw some "ballistic nylon" ones at autoanything.com but no idea how that would be...

Sheepskin or taxicab beads. Either of those will keep you cool. Sheepskin will be more comfortable in the winter, though.

Learned the hard way about the beads though, don't wear shorts with them. They will pull hair, unless you shave your legs that is. But it is cooler.

I have Wetokole neoprene in my truck, cool in summer and no cold shock in winter, kinda pricey for a DD tho

Thanks! I've tried those beads before, didn't find them comfortable...

^ These. I've had them in multiple cars of mine and I love them. Make sure to get the cleaner so you can get the neoprene smell out after you install them.
