What is the wisdom of the board?

A few weeks back; vacation with friends. I had my netbook with me and three peoples camera's worth of pictures all got stored on my computer. I now want to share the pictures back to my friends (who do not live close to me.) I have 402MB of pictures and 120MB of video

    What do you recommend?

I do not want one of those sights where you can look at the pictures but my friends can not keep the pictures; or have to pay to gain access.

Too big to send pictures as attachments in email?
    Would winzip help?

Should I just copy onto a CD and send out via snail mail?

Flash memory is cheap and will be useful later.

go buy a few 1 gigabyte flash memory sticks, put the pics and vids on there, along with a receipt and BAM! you're done.

I love the memory sticks. Use them on our security recorders instead of burning a dvd. Re-useable. (How many times?) Tiger Direct has them for cheap.

Blank CD's are like, what, a dime? A quarter? Wrap them in thin cardboard and if you're careful, they will mail for a first class stamp.

Download picasa from google, its one of the better photo album programs out there.

They give you 1GB of online web album picture storage. Once your pics are uploaded, you can send your friends a link to the photos and videos and the whole process won't cost you a dime. You can set the privacy up such that only people coming in on the special link you email out can view the contents of the album.

Another vote for picassa! Nice software package, 1gb of free space to store fullsize images and I am pretty sure video as well, you can buy more space if needed=WIN!

I use fotki and photo bucket. Don't have to be a member of either to look at the pics. Don't get much storage space for free on fotki, but it's unlimited once you pay. Anybody wants to take a look http://public.fotki.com/lewbud/
