What's that all a boot? I'd sure as E36 M3 drive it home and deal with ebay for a new wheel after I cut the boot off. Of couse, I wouldn't park illegally downtown, but that's hardly the point.

I thought the boots clamped to the wheel in such a fashion that if you tried to drive off, the extended part would impact the frame and/or fender rendering serious damage.
