I personally feel that New Years resolutions are important, because they show that you can at the very least ACKNOWLEDGE the need to change. No different than yearly performance reviews with recommendations on improvements.

I've made a simple list, and after some stuff that went on over the holidays, I'm just going to do it. Not even try, I've given up on trying, I am just going to "do".

    1. Get a new job asap
    2. Lose 10 pounds (gained it sitting through 2 years of school and 1 year of sitting at a desk job). I have a smaller frame, so 10 pounds seems like a lot on me.
    3. Date, a lot. I'm not the suavest of a ladies man, but I don't think I'm that bad. I've heard great things about online sites and I meet a lot of interesting women in my travels racing, so this shouldn't be hard.
    4. Pay off all credit card debt.

I feel pretty good about the list. It's not like any of these things are crazy hard, I just have to do them. The last 4 years of my life have been devoted to racing (and some school), time to grow as an adult now I think.

I only have one. . . . to finish my damn projects. Too bad we blew the kitty over the holiday.

All I need for the E36 302 is a SN95 5.0 bellhousing, driveshaft and exhaust. The last two are easy; the bellhousing is too . . .but to the tune of $250 used

I just did a Bob Harper (Biggest Loser) kettlebell DVD--54 minute workout (holy hell, that is ridiculous) followed by 25 minutes on my mag trainer.

I just need the commitment to do this or something similar a few times a week.

I want to kick my 40th birthday (5/12) in the nuts.

Mine ended this morning on the way to work. I wanted to stop getting bent out of shape when idiot drivers do their thing. Driving while angry is never a good thing. But when someone passes me in a right-hand turn lane doing 70 MPH in a 50 zone, then cuts in front spraying gravel leaving me no braking zone...

    The bastard's lucky I didn't ram him.
