Wouldn't have mattered. He didn't have the right phone, she was not interested in him.

I think the wedding ring would have done that for me.

Okay, I'll chime in. I have been waiting for the new iPad specs, as I have been eying one for a while. I don't find a laptop comfortable for reading/surfing unless I'm at a desk. I also think tablets might be part of our publishing future, so I figure I should be comfortable with the medium.

The new iPad specs didn't include some things I was expecting, like an SD slot, more memory and a better screen. So I just ordered a refurbed original model through Apple. For $529 I got a 64GB iPad.

Woohoo, my iPad just got here a few days ago! I picked up a refurb'd 64GB 3G iPad with a case for $502 shipped!

H8ers gonna H8, I love it. I sold my netbook to a friend for what I paid for it, and don't regret it one bit. Teachers let me use the iPad during class, and I can touch type as fast as I can on a real keyboard. It gets internet anywhere, and I can turn it on instantly when I need it. It doesn't do everything in the world, but it does everything I need 90% of the time.

So I need to resurrect this thread. My wife's cousin and her husband just got 2 new iPad3's. When they did this she offered us up her iPad2 (64GB I think) $300. My wife wanted it, but I was sort of indifferent about it. It was something I would maybe like to have but didn't need it. My wife watches her 8 month old daughter 2-3 days a week for her, and I bought a full set of brake pads for her Forester about two months ago as she is in need of changing them. My wife worked out a deal where I do the brakes and she does some baby sitting for a week or so free to make up the difference.

So now we have an iPad that my wife put a pink cover on!!!! Why I have no idea. Any go to apps that I need to get aside from the ones listed on here? Any cool functions that I need to know about?

    Chris
