I was bored, so I took my helmet cam to work and mounted it on the head rest of my seat. ( I drive city bus) It is an 80 min. run, that is compressed to 4 mins. for the video. Times that by 6, and that is my day. Pointless, but here you go.

Haha, nice. I always wanted to do that when I drove a school bus but there would've been legal issues filming "near" other peoples' kids.

I didn't know a bus could corner like that.

I don't know about city buses but school buses corner FLAT. You wouldn't believe the speeds you can carry through corners in one of those - when it's empty of course. Otherwise the kids will spill all their yoghurt and you'll have to clean it up.

I wouldn't call them nimble or try to force one through transitions that shift the weight around dramatically, but on sweepers you've got it made. They handle WAY better and feel a thousand times more confident than big consumer vehicles like the 24' RV my parents had around the same time.

I always wanted to try that but with the camera facing inside. We have about 100 ways that could get us fired though.

I need your email address when you get a chance. I lost your pm when I had the computer fixed.

I like the video, but after 30 seconds or so I was making F1 engine and tire noises.

I worried about the same thing. That is why I faced it forward, and made sure nobody could be recognized on video.

I was wondering if you got that PM. My email address is jackinthebus@gmail.com

I should of added that to the sound track! I just added music to get rid of the chipmunk sounding people, and the constant whine of the diesel engine up and down because of the sped up video.
