I am sure you have all heard my rants about Harrah's Atlantic City.. well, I thought I would share something nice about the Borgata where I also work

I am a second year employee there.. so I have worked there for 7 years. This year, on July 4th, they celebrated their 8th anniversery.

This friday, on the 8th.. (get it?) they pulled out all the stops to celebrate.. WITH their employees. they brought out a couple of Plinko games that you could try for a prize (everybody gets one.. I got a $50 gift card to macys) free pool tables in the employee lounge.. Cake, giveawayes.. they went all out to thank the employees for making sure they have been a success these past 8 years.

On top of this.. when all the other casinos are trying to make me take a huge pay cut.. ( last offer to the union was 28/hr.. I currently make 38/hr) The Borgata gave me a RAISE to 38.50/hr.

it would be less stress if everyone worked like they should. Unfortunately some stage hands are nothing more than glorfied box pushers. There is a reason I am in the top three on the Borgata's "call list"
