Had to be 1998-99 I saw an intriguing and creative long commercial about a pig that flew. Something about the hardware (believe it was Sony's Bravia flat screen TV's) enabling leaps of creativity, was implied at a distance but mostly it was just entertainment.
Just wondering, with all the encyclopediac pop culture recollection ability on here, if anyone knows why I can't get Google to find it...? I presumably have some element of what I remember wrong, would be my guess
According to Wikipedia, the Bravia brand has only been around since 2005. That could be your problem, there.
Yeah, there is NO WAY it is that old. I remember the flying pig commercial, and it wasn't 98-99....
When pigs fly is apparently when Sony will send a replacement screen for my 52" Bravia.

Maroon 92, the one I'm thinking of starts off in an authentic/antique barn at night. in fact it takes place all at night. Does it sound like the one you remember?
Pretty sure it was mid to late 90's, not newer. Apparently I was mistaken about the Bravia part, then.
