As a gulf coast resident I keep my eyes peeled this time of year. The weather services are calling for a "mild" storm, but it never feels mild roaring over your house. I know we"ve got a couple of readers in the general paths so I wanted to let you know we're thinking of you. Stay safe.

Fortunately it completely missed us other than some mild wind - we didn’t even get any rain.
Looks like it’s just now reaching Jim’s place, though it’s weakened quite a bit now that it’s over land.
Aeromoto is 20-miles west of us, so it missed him too.
