I don't think anybody is saying if the girl's a nutjob it's OK to fool around. More along the lines of, 'don't judge a book by its cover'.
Personally, I think if a guy will fool around on a wife who's a nutjob, he'll fool around on one who isn't also, same goes for women. Like the old saying goes, if you screw around with a married person, what have you got? Someone who's proven they can't be faithful.

Yep... Mutt Lange has been around for quite awhile... He sort of became semi-famous with Def Leppard's Pyromania album back in '83. And I agree she owes her career to him.

That' not really a good criterion. As someone who's spent a lot of time on both sides of the mic, there are some producers who hear a sound in their heads and will jam that square peg in there until it fits. My instinct was to see what the performer does naturally and exploit that. Both approaches are valid. It depends on how much time and money is in the budget.
Obviously, there was something to Shania's voice that led her to the fateful meeting with Mutt Lange. Ultimately, their collaboration was good for both of them. Had Ms Twain met a producer more inclined to go with her strengths the result would be equally as good but in a different way.
Mutt Lange totally changed her approach to fit a harder-edged sound he brought with him from the Hair Bands he produced earlier. So there's going to be lots of editing. Try taking a NASCAR Sprint Cup car to LeMans and note the amount of "editing" needed.

I have a friend who cheated on his girlfriend of several years.
The gal he cheated with was way hotter though, and someone he could culturally relate to better (both Filipino, his girlfriend was Lebanese or something).
Really, I think he cheated at a semi-conscious level to sabotage the relationship in such a way that she'd break up with him. He needed to get out of it, and is much happier now that he has. I think he just didn't have the balls to man up and say "I need out." Of course, the gal he was dating was kind of crazy and might not have accepted that answer.
I can totally understand why, and things are better for him because he did. But it's still kinda berkeleyed up that he didn't just man-up and break things off himself.

Just saying, baggage is a relative term and you just have to decide how much baggage is too much. Some women think our automotive passion is too much baggage (their loss). I think I could put up with Christie B's baggage. At least for as long as she puts up with mine. I might even be able to withstand Mariah C's baggage for like maybe a week.

We all have baggage, yeah. Some of us have more than others. Baggage is what drives people around the bend. And looks do NOT make up for it.
Hobbies aren't really baggage; things like alcoholism, bipolar disorder, etc are real problems. BTDT.
