Ha, I was going to start a thread like that. Here's mine:

Metallica

Nirvana

The Dead Milkmen

The Dead Kennedys

Living Colour

The Ramones

The Who

Sha Na Na

Ten Years After

Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe

And a few things realized. I have been lucky to see a ton of bands, including most all of my favorites. This weekend we're knocking off pretty much the last one on the "to see" list: Soundgarden. Finally. (Also coming up, although I have seen them already, are Slayer, Iron Maiden, Metallica and The Melvins.)

Sadly, though I have also been lucky to see some greats that the world will never hear live again: Nirvana, The Ramones, Motorhead, Pylon and Morphine.

mtn, a few years ago Tim and Margie took the entire staff to see Willie Nelson. He opened with Whisky River. After he finished I was like, Welp, we could leave now and I'd be happy.

Definitely, the way I read the description is bands you have seen perform live. Where/how you saw them does not seem to be a concern.
