Just came here to post this.  Apparently he was diagnosed with dementia about 4 years ago.

Thank you, sir.

I need to watch Life of Brian again - it has been a long while since I watched it, but that will make me wish George Harrison was still with us.

RIP.

His historical books/series were also fantastic (e.g. "Medieval Lives", both book and series).

I'm picturing he walks up to the pearly gates and saint peter is sitting behind a desk wearing a bra and says "and now for something completely different."

Dementia is a bad way to go. If a brilliant and creative man like that gets it what hope do we plebs have. You will be missed sir thank you for your contributions to the worlds culture.

If you prefer to delve deeper into the catalog, Pluto TV is currently running Terry Jones' Great Map Mystery, a series on the history of 17th Century roads in Wales, on the British TV channel (175).

The most local brewery (have to be specific here in Portland) is playing Life of Brian right now. Forgot how funny it is. Thanks Terry.

If you didn't know, Netflix has quite a bit of Python material.  Movies, specials, the series, interviews...  Watched Holy Grail again last night and didn't have to dig out the DVD.

You'll need to log in to post.
