Kudos to The Tire Rack. I ordered 4 tires yesterday afternoon, regular ground shipping from 300 miles (+/-) away. They were on my doorstep 22.5 hours later!

yeah i've had a similar experience with them, they have a warehouse in shreveport, LA so no sales tax, ordered 4:30 on a thursday, and they were there friday afternoon, before the charge had even hit my card.

I ordered a set of Konis back on January 13th from the TireRack, and they arrived yesterday... sounds tragic, doesn't it?
They kept in good communication the whole time, and stayed on their supplier, since things were back ordered. The delay even allowed me to take advantage of the 25% off sale. Once they did ship, they were on my doorstep the next day.

I've ordered tires in the afternoon and had them at my door by 10 am. Brakes take a long time though. I suspect that they have to order stuff like that.
