    There was a story in the paper once about a motorhome that burned because a matress got stuck under it. A rock once hit the windshield of my car and little bits of glass were all over the inside of the car, I'm glad I had sunglasses on. I also have seen haybales, and a whole truckload of furniture before.

    My boss once hit a goose while doing 85mph on an interstate. He said it pretty much came out of nowhere, and hit at the top edge of the windshield, right in the middle. It shattered about a 2' semi-circle in the windshield and folded the roof down on a brand new Ranger.

    This is prob good for me to see... I've been a little lax on my following distance of late...

    That being said... 8 or so years ago in panama city I was delivering pizza... driving on a divided main road... coming around the bend the other direction was a semi pulling a house trailer/mobile home.... one of the wheels came off and crossed the median... had I not been paying attention i'd have run right onto it....
