well, if you think about it, lifting the rear end will provide down force to the driven wheels
...and reduce understeer
It would also keep the back of the car clean
Yeah, it seems reasonable for FWD, except that I can't see him getting significant aero from it. The angle is beyond what we see on these BTCC cars, and he's much slower, so I expect that all it does is generate drag.
I see quite a few of them turned around that way too. What's up with that?
I know this guy who's been riding around for a month with a piece of plexiglas taped to the passenger door where the glass used to be...the glass that was shattered when an empty beer was thrown "out" the window.

My guess would be that they're "adjustable," and that the kind of ass clown who'd double-sided tape a park bench to the back of his geo metro is the same kind of ass clown who finger-tightens things because he doesn't own a wrench.
