I just clicked off 41. I should probably start thinking about what I want to do when I grow up.

    HA!

Maybe but at least I'm having a good time and she is into all the car stuff and all that. Heck how many girls do you know that look good not wearing makeup and dive in arm pit deep into the guts of an old Olds Cutlass?

When I was 30 I was probably in better shape than when I was 20, of course the army might have had something to do with that. Now at 50, I've found that I can just about do anything I could when I was 30, just need more tools to do it. Like I use jacks, lifts, etc instead of muscles now. Work smarter, not harder. In a couple years you'll look back and not even notice the difference between 20 & 30. But then I've been told that you have to redo things until you get it right. I've been trying to get 29 right for 22 years now. Which means I now have kids older than I am. Happy 29th.... again.

    Welcome to adulthood!

30 hurt a little. I'm about to be 31 and tons of fun. Checked my blood pressure the other day: 155/96. Pretty sure it's nothing a bunch of whiskey, cigarettes, and waffle house won't cure though.

Apparently 33 is the age when bunny hopping contests lead to tendonitis in one's rotator cuff...

I'm 38, and I get to retire in 5 years. Getting older totally rocks, I have money I didn't have before, rarely come to work hungover, look better, feel better and that crap about my sexual peak at 18, pssshhawww, I am soo much better at it now....

If I was engineered to be 150 pounds less than I am now.. I would weigh 20 pounds

Happy Bday! Your running out of days of the month. Being in your 30s is not bad. Im turning 34 in Nov. and I still dont know what I want to be when I grow up.

It's not bad till you hit 31. 2 months after hitting 31 I lost 80 lbs and made some major changes in my life that made me a much happier person, 31 was a big wake up call to me. For some reason having a 1 or more on the end has a big affect on how I feel about my age, with the 0 it still felt like twentysomething to me.

Oh man, thirty is young! You don't even know who you are yet in your twenties - in your thirties you figger all that out and still get to look good. Early 40s I loved - zinging fit, with enough sense of self to not take E36 M3 from anyone anymore. Late 40s? They're tough. You start to find yourself making the same noises your parents made (oooooh, my back) and things start to hurt or not work the way you've always taken for granted.

I remember 30,oh wait, I think it was 40 or was it 50 ? After so many, I get confused, it that a sign of old age ?

I loved turning 30 (last year)...all through my 20's I thought 30 would be "old" and I was dreading it. Then, at 29, I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Turning 30 is so much more exciting when you weren't sure you were going to get to. Now that I've survived the tumor, every birthday feels like a gift. 35? Bring it on! 40? Yup, I'm ready. 50, 60, 70...you get the idea.

All that being said, I'm rather enjoying my 30's. It's like being in your 20's only with more money.

My Grand Father had a saying "Growing old sucks, but it sure beats the alternative". Seemed to work for him. He lived to be 102.

    Yup, turned 31 last month.

I thought my highschool football coach was full of it when he said "Gentleman, this (age) is the best you'll ever be, make the most of it".

I'd have to agree. I'm bigger, stronger and I know a lot more now. Problem is, I can't do any of it as fast or as long as I used to.

That being said, I'm not anywhere near where I thought I'd be when I was 30. I think I'm someplace better.

    Here is some perspective.
Though 30 may feel old, remember, you are still too young to be The President of the USA. Legally, you have to be 36 yrs or older for that.

I'll be 46 in December. If you feel old at 30 you're doing it wrong. You're still just a punk kid. My ex is 10yrs my junior, my current is 21yrs younger. I may be old but at least I'm immature!

I was reading the "man-code" the other day and it states the formula for dating younger women. (1/2 your age plus 7 is the youngest)

In your case: she can be 30 years old or older
