I don't really think of MB as the stereotypical car of the Cajun.

I wish stadiums were still just Mile High, or Candlestick Park, or the Superdome, instead of The Qwest Century Link Ameritrade Starbucks Waffle House Mercedes Sears Center.

I like the Brewers stadium and it's name: Miller Park; as in Miller Brewing company...seems very fitting.

I was about to mention how Wrigley, my favorite ballpark fits into this, until I remembered about Wrigley Gum.

In the Friendly Confines defense, however, Mr. Wrigley actually bought the team.

This is getting as bad as renaming all the CFB bowl games.

I was relieved and pleased that when they rebuilt Soldier Field in Chicago the name remained Soldier Field. I'm sure they could have sold the name, but they chose not to.

I'm not sure why they didn't, but I'm glad it stayed the same. It was named in honor of our soldiers for pete's sake!

the field- but only the field- at the Metrodome in Minneapolis is called "Mall of America Field". yes, a shopping mall has naming rights to the floor of a giant inflatable stadium.. which makes me think that Nickelodeon should buy the rights to the short animated movie "Rejected" and buy the rights to name the roof after this guy:

it would be perfect, since Nickelodeon has the big park in the middle of the Mall of America..

I am not sure who started the whole "Sell the name to the park to the higest bidder" but I wish it would stop. It gets annoying when you mention you are going to "such and such field" and people look at you funny because they renamed it a week ago when somebody else bought the name
