Recycled a bunch of beer cans today & took the opportunity to weigh Daisy. 5160 lbs with me & 1/4 tank of gas!

I've got my daily driver 2000 BMW 540i touring. It checks all the boxes for what I want in a daily driver— it's RWD, decently quick thanks to its 4.4L V8, has tons of cargo space, is bright red, and is comfortable enough to take on lengthy road trips. Eventually it'll get a 6-speed manual and more power.

For you wagon-lovers.  Possibly the ultimate wagon project car?

1967 Caprice wagon with a 385hp 427 and Muncie 4spd.

Would a GMT400 Suburban with these specs be a fun "wagon"?  I'm considering fixing up my worn out truck with a 383 stroker/4-speed but realizing I could probably never sell it like that if I get tired of it.

a good buddy of mine just finished his turbo 5.3 Ford LTD wagon. Makes 640 hp to the wheels.

I like this.  Haven't seen too many Crown Vics getting swapped, its usually the smaller Fairmonts.

Obligatory wagon hotlink.

I mentioned this in the Unicorn thread some ago and then again in the Fergus thread in May, but I'll bring it up a third time: I've been watching Tom Cotter's barn find hunter series of videos on Youtube, and he bought a 1967 Ford Country Squire that was factory equipped with a 428, four speed, console and bucket seats. And wood grain siding. :) A one of one car, it had to be signed off by Lee Iacocca himself to be released for production.

I'm still mad at the pine tree that took out my Saab 9-5 project, but it has me thinking that I need to replace it with something better suited for cargo/dog hauling. Then, I remembered they made these:

My son always had VWs but at a Christmas party the hostess talked about a car she kept for the Nanny (nice neighborhood) but the Nanny declined so it's been sitting.  Ian asked what it was and next thing you know he's got a very nice '08 wagon.  He fills it with cases of wine and motors around Manhattan plying his wares.  Wished it was a stick but nfg in the City.

I'm a huge fan of how the late 9-3 aero wagons look, but they are almost exactly the same size inside as the SAABaru Impreza wagon.  I haul bikes and don't like taking the wheels off, so I'm a 9-5 wagon guy all day.  Two in the driveway and likely one more coming...

Wish I could afford one of these:
