Same here, heat index has consistently been 100+ the last week.
This has been tough being thrown right into it instead of getting eased into the high temps.

Mellish's projection is only for areas east of the Mississippi River; more specifically for Georgia.
If you can find anyone like him in OK, i.e., honest and non-hysterical, consider that a good thing.

Hasn't made it up here either (yet), more snow in the mountains last night...
Supposedly it's going to warm up towards the end of the week, let's hope that winter is finally over here as it's getting more than a bit old.

I'm JUST east of the Mississippi river, on the north side of the Ohio river, so I hope the prediction pertains to me! This heat sucks ass. It's been consistently 10+* above average for the last week or two. I'm sick of it.
