IT'S hardly the toughest spelling test - but road markings painters still managed to get it hopelessly wrong. They spelt STOP in BUS STOP as STOR.

Adam Gant, 11, who spotted the blunder in Oldham said: "I'm not sure if it's a case of people not being able to spell these days or that they just can't be bothered.

"Either way, it's a pretty poor effort at spelling something simple."

The local council said contractors have promised to correct the mistake free of charge.

That's just where they stor the bus when they're not using it.

When an 11-year-old has to point out your spelling mistake to you... You pretty much fail everything ever.

Hey, it's the U.K., they spell so many English words differently.

If that were the case, it would be a "Busse Stoure".

Confession time…my oldest daughter will be five this month and I’m already anticipating the first time I won’t be able to confidently answer her spelling questions.

Seeing as how it was in England, maybe that's how you spell it in Moslem?

I am sure there are going to be a LOT of questions she will have for you that you will not know the answers to.
