I will be in Secaucus the week of March 7th. What is there to do during the evenings there? Preferably grassroots and auto related.

You're not far from Newark, where car-jackings are rather popular

Not driving and flying so I will unfortunately have no sidearm. Is there an indoor cart track?

Panasonic US headquarters is there. There are Toughbook computers in every cop car. Maybe their finest can show you all the cool things they could look up. Also, it is illegal to pump your own gas in NJ so you could experience that.

Leave? Leaving sounds like a good idea, if it's NJ.

Too bad, but it sounds like you're leaving on the day of our Morristown St. Pat's Day parade (March 12). It's one of the biggest St Pat's parades in the east.....lots of pubs on the route and tons of merry-making. A great time and you sure don't need to be Irish. Bulgarians, Vegetarians and anyone else is welcome!

I'll be there (in the parade) with my Curved Dash Olds replica.

l years ago it was a $2 bus ride to Manhattan from Secaucus. There is a good Italian restaurant called Bazzarelli's on Moonachie near the Teterboro airport. One block down from Bazzarelli's is a spanish place Segovia? that has very good food.

Bazzarelli's was my lunch every other monday for a couple of years. Linguine with red clam sauce was my favorite, but everything that I tried was good.

I'm in Secaucas for a few days about once per year...I just drive through the Holland tunnel and spend the day playing in Manhattan.

secaucus! if you have transport, you can check out V-17 in paramus ( 30 minutes north on rt 17 - one of the most accident prone roads in the states). Washinton Street in Hoboken, 15 minutes to the east, has a thriving night life. On weekends, a local club runs autoX in the meadowlands parking lot (don't know if they still do).

what's wrong with that? I have never had a car damaged by a gas jockey, I do not have to get out in the cold/rain/snow to pump my own gas, I do not smell like gas if I spill any, and our gas is STILL cheaper than most places in the country.

gas is partly cheaper because you cannot pump your own. Less drive offs = cheaper insurance rates for station owners.

Lived in Secaucus for a year. The only thing you could do is check out the AutoX at the Meadowlands or come out to the NYC.
