I took my sons around Waterford hills in my ITB Volkswagen several years ago. The older one got queazy and asked me to pit after 3 laps. The younger one comments, as we roar through turn one,"When are we going to go fast, Daddy?". It turns out I set my fastest lap ever, up to that point,with 60 pounds of bored ballast in the passenger seat !
