    NYC Heist

Maybe they got tired of wearing black.

At least three Ninja-esque crooks swept into a Midtown boutique early Tuesday and jacked about $100,000 worth of designer items from Italian fashion icon Emilio Pucci, police sources told The New York Post.

Clad completely in black, the thieves lifted purses, belts, dresses, T-shirts, sunglasses and other accessories, shoved them in a bag and ran off, a spokesperson for the store told the Post. Security video apparently caught the whole heist on tape.

The nimble ninjas eluded cops, escaping with their stolen wares by the time police responded to the alarm triggered by the break-in. They still haven't been found.

The crooks left most of the goods in the store, but still made off with loot worth up to $40,000 wholesale and $100,000 retail, police sources told the Post.

    Awesome.

Duh! They're berkleying Ninjas, of course they haven't been found. Until they start accesorizing thier Ninja costumes with all the loot they stole.

"Will this Gucci bag hold at least 50 throwing stars?"

"Hey look, this gold necklace can also be used to repel down a skylight..."

They need to check their business model. Most boutiques get 400-800% mark up. They shouldn't be paying more than about 15k for that stuff.

Meh. Pirates would have destroyed the cameras before plundering. A few barrels of black powder and some well-placed cannon rounds - voila!

Yeah, the booty would be a bit singed and dirty, but what the heck do you expect a pirate to be wearing? The wenches will play dress-up, serve ale (used as a detergent, deodorant, visual aid, and inspiration because Pucci designs need all the help they can get) and everyone has fun.

Ninjas don't drink ale - they lose.....

Haven't you been paying attention? Pirates traded in their black powder for AK-47s. Lame.
