Checking my e-mail, I notice an "Infected Mail" item. Have never seen that before. E-set caught it. So I look at the item, it turns out to be a shipping notification from UPS.com! I deleted it immediately, now realize I should have kept it for examination, but ............ About the last place I would expect something like this would be from a legit company like UPS. FWIW, the shipping info was legit.

Frankly, I'm surprised that horses don't figure more prominently in advertising for the Trojan brand.

    In reply to 4cylndrfury:

I really doubt it. I work in anti-spam, and the majority of phishing emails are designed to look like they come from large companies.

Also, there's not a DAMN thing UPS can do about it.

It's akin to the people that send every spam message they get to the FBI.

Better notify the cyber police, they'll backtrace it and consequences will never be the same!111

Wow, I guess it's a very good thing that I didn't open that thing. I have great faith in Eset, have never had any bad stuff come into my systems. Will run a full scan now. Thanks, Margie.

That UPS notification been circulating for some time. Saw a clip on the TV news about it and received the fwd type emails from my friends warning about it.

While I've shouted other things while purchasing, I can picture the reactions from the other shoppers in the store and I think the added shock value would be worth it.

I never got that far. Infected Mail was enough for me. Yeah, I imagine the UPS guys are going slightly nuts over this, and nothing they can do about it. It just happened to get to me at the same time I had an order shipping to me.

My spamcatcher catches probably a dozen UPS or Fed Ex letters every week. The odd one for me is the spam that comes from my email address. Not sure how they do that.....
