Pulled recently from a dark corner of my past, I found two comic books. One is called "Hot Rods and Racing Cars" and the other is "Mod Wheels". I tossed these up on Ebay and they did absolutely nothing. Anyone here a collector? They are mildly amusing, vintage early 1970s for real comics and not CARtoons. I'd be happy to just pass them along to someone who can wow me with useless trivia about them.

Related trivial blathering: on the rare occasions I could find an issue of CARtoons, my favorites were those done by Shawn Kerri. Immense detail coupled with a sense of humor I could relate to. Very talented illustrator who sadly died too early as a result of addiction.

I have no useless or usefull trivia about them but I'm always interested in off the wall car related stuff.

No cartoon trivia from me either.

I was explaining to my daughter as we were looking at a Schwinn Orange Krate Bicycle at a car show a few weeks ago about the process that got me from a 11-15 year old bicycle/go cart/mini bike/motorcycle/model car crazy kid to who I am today.

CARtoons and Roach T-shirts was a big part of this.
