No biggie.
But it was in my Grassroots Motorsports license frame

I'm in Ontario, they're mandatory. Although, I've driven press cars from Quebec fleets, where a front plate isn't necessary and haven't been pulled over by the po-po.

I hace never put front plate. on eny of my cars in UT or OH. the only time they give eny crap over it is when ther trying to find something to bug you about. I've never had a ticket for it.

I got stopped once in about six years and got a fix-it ticket for no front plate, but I think that was because the cop saw me roll a stop sign & didn't have enough to get me for it (he was facing the other way.)
Apparently, a week after I left Ontario, my dad got stopped in my car for the front plate, but the cop just gave him a warning.
I've also been stopped for a headlight out, and had to take cars down to the accident reporting centre for damage photographs twice. In none of those cases did the cops even mention the missing plate.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you go into the GTA.

Well... I got a ticket for $115 on the way home from the Tall Pines Rally four years ago. Plate had come off a week before, and I'd thrown it in the back, intending to put it on later. Even the fact that I had it with me didn't spare me the fine.
