Seriously, when picking the driver's for your $500 24-hour racing team, make sure the driver's understand the difference between TTS, HPDE, Sprint Racing and Endurance racing.

Did I just see the Miata driver fixate on the Corvette and follow it right into the wall? That was bizarre.

Actually, it looks like a series of unfortunate events. The Vette goes a little to deep, brakes to much, and starts to spin. Unfortunately the Miata tries to duck to the inside and smacks right into him.

I don't understand why in an endurance race, the driver in the Miata would try to make a move like that at that time.

The driver in the lead Miata was already working on out-breaking the Vette and was going to let him go by once he locked them up as he figured he would. The camera car was just going to hang back and let it all happen in front of him. The Banzai Miata just decided to drive through the middle of it all by driving sprint-race speeds at an endurance race for $500 cars.

Bottom line, out of 5 drivers in this clip, it seems that 3 of them understand what it means "to finish first, first you must finish." I suspect the other two might understand it a little more now.
