Hi all. I'm traveling to Wisconsin this weekend to look at and hopefully buy an '86 Subaru Brat from SlickDizzy. The best part is that I'm going to drive it the 575 odd miles home instead of wimping out and trailering it. Okay, not wimping out, I don't have a truck or trailer so driving is the only option.

I'm fairly confident that the Brat will make it but just in case, I was wondering of there was anybody along the I-80, I-90, I-94 corridor between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Toledo, South Bend, Chicago and Milwaukee that I could contact if the stuff hits the fan. I have AAA master towing which is good for 100 miles but I would need a safe place to get the car to for a week or two until my vacation from work starts and I can get it back on the road and home.

Please PM me if you can help should the need arise.

    Thanks!

I'm just southeast of ckosacranoid and oldtin, but closer to the expressway (I-94) than both of them.

    In reply to jimbob_racing:

I'm just east of Akron. Probably 35 miles south of I-90 and maybe 15 miles south of the I-80 route 8 exit. I have a complete shop and lift and room to store it if you need to. PM me for my phone number.
