+1, and throw Hilton Head in too. They have a great old 3 mast sailboat trip that leaves from HH Harbor and sails up to Savannah at Sunset. It is very nice for just you and the mrs if you can pawn the kids off somewhere.

No, really. You can also take the light rail to and from the airport to the Mall of America, and the Radisson Hotel right next door to the Mall has the largest indoor water park in the country. There's also an indoor amusement park at the Mall. You can also take the light rail downtown, and half of downtown is connected with skyways so you hardly have to go outside at all.
my wife and I went to savannah a couple of years ago, and I've wanted to go back ever since! The riverwalk is great!
Riverwalk? I was just there and never saw or heard of a Riverwalk.
But if you want a Riverwalk go to San Antonio. We just got back.

The Christmas lights were scheduled to be lit this week.
One can take a riverwalk in Savannah by rambling down River Street.
Hilton Head, Tybee Island, and Cumberland Island (to name a few places) are nearby and worthy of attention, too.
OH, I was there and didn't think of it as a Riverwalk nor did I hear anyone call it that.
San Antonio's Riverwalk has much more entertainment and goes on further. Granted part of it is just purty with nothing to do except walk or take a River taxi.
